Google Pixel 2 XL is just $10 a month at Verizon with new line or upgrade
Verizon currently has a deal for those who hate sales that require a trade-in. Add a new line or use an upgrade, and Verizon will sell you the 64GB Google Pixel 2 XL for just 24 monthly payments of $10. To get to that price, the carrier will give you 24 monthly bill credits that combine to equal $609.99. The phone must be purchased using the Device Payment Plan, and keep in mind that the credits might not kick in for the first one or two billing cycles.

Meanwhile, it's not like you're getting a decrepit old phone. The Pixel 2 XL offers many of the same features as the Pixel 3 XL, including a fabulous rear camera. You won't get Top Shot, which captures images just before and after you press the shutter and uses AI to recommend the best shots. And it doesn't have Photobooth, which waits until the subjects in a photo are smiling with their eyes open before a picture is taken. But it does include Night Sight, allowing Pixel 2 XL users to take quality photos under low-light conditions. And being a Pixel, it means that it is the first, or among the first in line for Android updates. The 3520mAh battery has a slightly higher capacity than the 3430mAh power source on the newer model.

If you plan on switching to Verizon, or don't mind adding an additional smartphone line, you can pick up the Motorola Moto Z3 for the same price. With a $240 bill credit added to your account over 24 months, you'll be essentially paying $10 a month for the phone. Now, here's the thing. If you live in Chicago or Minneapolis and add the 5G Moto Mod ($199.99) to the Moto Z3, you'll have a phone that can connect to the carrier's mobile 5G Ultra Wideband service. For now, Verizon is not charging any additional fee for the use of its 5G service.
