Deal: Samsung Galaxy S7 can be had for $279.99 refurbished

The conditions of the deal/s may have changed since the initial publishing of this post.

The recent launch of the Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ has left last year's S7 models feeling a little antiquated. Two great handsets that helped Sammy through the Galaxy Note 7 fiasco, the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge had an unquestionably strong flagship innings through 2016. While many are naturally transfixed by the S8 duo, now is actually a pretty good time to snap up a Galaxy S7 for cheap. If you're not too picky and don't mind rocking a refurbished model, the excellent but not-so-edgy Galaxy S7 can be snagged for a mere $279.99.

Sure, it's not as brand-spanking-new as many gadget lovers would prefer. But for well under 300 bucks, you'll struggle to find as good a handset anywhere -- new or otherwise. It's worth pointing out that this eBay deal applies to the T-Mobile variant carrying the model number SM-G930T. In short, it'll play nice with T-Mo or any other GSM carrier, but not so with CDMA network brands like Sprint or Verizon.

As a refresher, the Samsung Galaxy S7 sports a Snapdragon 820 processor, 4 gigs of RAM and an excellent 12-megapixel main camera. The 5.1-inch display sports a quad-HD resolution at 1440 x 2560, and you get a 3000 mAh battery under the hood. If you'd like a more in-depth overview, be sure to take a peek at our review.

There's always a bit of risk when dealing with eBay resellers as opposed to, say, one of Samsung's official vendors of refurbished handsets. Still, for the price of an upper-mid-ranger, you're getting one of the best smartphones of the last year, so it may be a calculated risk worth taking.
