Microsoft reveals why you'd want to lay your hands on an extra-cheap Nokia 130

Several days ago, Microsoft further-expanded its portfolio of extremely-affordable feature phones with the Nokia 130. The cheapo flaunts an impressively-low price tag of ~$25 and apart from its classic and timeless looks, the 130 is deeply imbued by all the traits that made Nokia a market dominator many a year ago. While many may overlook such an entry-level device nowadays, it has some clear advantages over its affordable rivals and smartphones alike.

Microsoft decided to highlight the strong points of Nokia 130 via a just-released infographic. Apart from the impressively low price, the feature phone also comes with a spectacular battery life, courtesy of a 1,020mAh battery under the hood. This capacity is said to deliver roughly 36 days of standby time, up to 13 hours of talk time, 16 hours of video playback (which, according to Microsoft equals to 43 episodes of Friends), or 46 hours of music playback. Impressive, but then again, that's a feature phone.

The Nokia 130 tips the scales at just 68.6g, which is something that Microsoft also seems pretty proud of, and enables you to make use of a microSD card up to 32GB in size – undoubtedly, another feat that is worthy of finding its place in Redmond's infographic. Check it out below.
